Maserati Granturismo Sport coming to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show

Maserati will display during the Swiss Motor Show a revised version of the current Granturismo model.The Italian company managed to extract 20 more HP from the usual V8 and they’ve revised the front fascia. Maserati continues to grant a special attention to its current range of GT’s so they consider that’s time to bring to one of the most important motor shows in Europe a revised version of the beautiful Granturismo. This special version is named Sport.The Sport badge brings some discreet changes to the exterior design and a more powerful engine.

The old 4.7 liter V8 now makes a total of 460 HP, enough to reconfirm the supercar claims of the current model.Thanks to the increase in power now the Maserati Granturismo Sport gets from 0 to 60 in 4.6 seconds.The V8 engine is paired with a paddle shifter automatic gearbox.
The front end gets a new spoiler, better air intakes, longer headlights and LED lights for the front.Some chromed elements have been taken over from the MC Stradale version.At the interior the interior designers brought a new steering wheel and new seats.
The European debut of the new Granturismo will take place at the prestigious Geneva Motor Show scheduled to start in March.

    >The exterior part is quite impressive. The manufacturer really made this car a very competitive one. I look forward to seeing this car in person. For now, I am enjoying the new car I bought from an audi dealer.
