There are a variety of new engines for the facelift Megane.There’s the dCI diesel engine that produces 100 HP and 260 NM of torque while it claims it can deliver an estimated 61 Mpg economy figure.For those looking for more power they have the option of the 1.6 Liter dCI diesel that produces 130 HP but only get 55 Mpg.For those that hate diesel or just don’t like it Renault Megane comes with the option of a tiny 1.2 Liter 4 cylinder gasoline engine that makes 115 HP and gets around 50 Mpg.Renault names this engine Energy Tce 115 and its their newest creation.
At the gadget category the big novelty offered by the Renault Megane facelift is represented by the Visio system.This system adjust automatically that intensity of the headlights considering the opposite side of the road traffic with the help of a video camera placed on the windscreen.The french compact hatchback is for the first time now available with a lane departure assist system.
The level of the comfort is greatly improved also because of the new Alcantara leather upholstery.The Renault Megane facelift will hit the showrooms early this year with first deliveries made in a couple of months.
