The newest crossover from the Infiniti range makes the decisive step towards mass production with its debut at the 2012 Detroit Motor Show.After a preview offered to the honored assistance at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance which took place last summer the JX descents to real life searching a place in the luxury SUV segment.
The car comes with standard front traction but also with an optional AWD system named Intelligent All-Wheel Drive.The power comes from a V6 DOHC engine of 3.5 liters making 265 HP.This is coupled with the CVT automatic transmission which is a premier in the range of vehicles sold by the Japanese premium manufacturer.
The safety is a strong suit for the Infiniti JX.The best safety feature is the system named Backup Collision Intervention which monitored everything that’s going on the back of the car while the car is in reverse and automatically push the brake is needed.The comfort offered by the three rows of leather seats is rivaled only by the dashboard refinement.
The whole interior quality is outstanding the materials used a great and the space is very good also.The Infiniti JX will have on the American market a starting price of 40.450 dollars for the base model and the AWD version will start at 41.550 dollars.The first units will get in the showrooms in the first half of 2012.
