The concept that prefaces the new generation of the Subaru Legacy model made its debut at the 42nd edition of the Toyko Motor Show.When the first pics of the Subaru Advanced Tourer Concept were made public I wasn’t so sure about the success of the “Revolutionary Sports Tourer” concept but now I kinda think it nice.

To be more precise the exterior design is very appealing even if those rising doors aren’t very original considering that Ford Evos Concept came a few months ago with this kind of doors.
Of course the production model will only get normal doors.In size is situates between the Subaru Impreza and the Subaru Legacy.

Subaru used to create this concept a new design philosophy named “Confidence in Motion” which brings a little aggressive to this segment.This concept has only four seats a bit odd for a family sedan concept but hey its a concept.

The Subaru Advanced Tourer Concept comes with a 1.6 Liter four cylinder boxer engine and with an electric engine so its a hybrid.The power is sent to the wheels with the help of a CVT transmission coupled with a all wheel drive system.The HP or other performance figures remain unknown.Like any hybrid these days it can be driven a small speed in pure electric mode but only for short distances.
