Only one year has passed since the debut of the Aventador.Some sources say that Lamborghini intends to launch a convertible version of their latest supercar.Its official debut is scheduled to be at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, according to some rumors.

Lamborghini Aventador is expected to be unleashed at in March 2012 when will the Geneva Motor Show will take place.The engine will be the same V12 that just like its brother in the coupe makes around 700 HP.The convertible version of the Aventador will keep the 4WD system that will work alongside a 7 speed automatic.For the time being there are now official performance figures but Lamborghini will make everything they can so that the Roadster will be just as fast and dynamic as the Coupe.The Coupe version of Lamborghini Aventador gets from 0 to 60 in about 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 217 Mph.This car takes pride from its braking system that consists of braking disks of 400 mm in the front  and 380 mm in the back.

Regarding the retractable roof some voices say that it will be the same system used on the Murcielago Roadster only drastically improved.Until now Lamborghini didn’t confirm anything you’ve read in this article even though the patent for the Lamborghini Aventador Roadster has been already registered at the United States of America Patent Office.
