Just a few weeks ago Honda unveiled the new CR-V at the Los Angeles Motor Show. The fans of the Honda brand feared that this model won’t make it to be launched at the LA Motor Show because of some problems with the suppliers from Thailand but the Japanese company managed to get it together on time and claim that this month the new CR-V will be already available for orders in some areas.Sadly for those that wish to buy this car the waiting list is quite large and they’ll have to wait a few months or even more.
The new generation of CR-V was prefaced by a concept with almost the same exact looks like the production version.Basically only the wheels are different and there is less chrome but in rest its the same as the concept. This shouldn’t be to surprising for Honda fans since its not the first time Honda does this.
The interior of the new 2012 Honda CR-V has a more premium feel.Actually it doesn’t only feel premium but it also looks premium with nice gauges and touch materials. The American buyers will get to enjoy the integration of the Pandora interface for internet radio along with a function that reads text messages and the i-MID system(Intelligent Multi-Information Display).i-MID is offered only the CR-V models equipped with satellite navigation..Honda CR-V keeps the five seats interior configuration and the back seat can be folded down very easily.

On the American market Honda offers the new CR-V with the i-VTEC 2.4 Liter engine an inline four cylinder that makes 185 HP and 220 NM of torque. This power is sent to the wheels by a five speed automatic transmission.
This model is also equipped with a AWD system, named Real Time All-Wheel-Drive, it has an intelligent control system. For the moment there is no info about the Euro version of the 2012 CR-V or about the European version engines.
